Before Jesus ascended to take His place at the right hand of the Father in Heaven, He spoke to His Disciples and said:

Matthew 28:19-20

19“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Team OBEY Ministries

Prepare to OBEY

Being a member of Team OBEY has nothing to do with being justified by faith or the process of sanctification that happens throughout the life of a believer. You are a servant of Christ because you have chosen to believe in the restorative power and redemptive grace of Jesus Christ. It is your faith in the blood of Christ that saves you, not the Team OBEY logo that you will be able to wear on your chest as an official member. The Team OBEY logo is meant to be a statement of your dedication to the Lord. You are boldly claiming that you are one who is eager to shout your faith from the mountain top, and you are willing to share the gospel even at the risk of your own demise. And for those who are interested in becoming a Team OBEY member, you must first understand that being a member carries with it a weighty responsibility.

First off, let me start off by saying I have been on my spiritual journey for 40 years and a true disciple for the last 15 years. I have been through several seminars and workshops as well attending the global leadership summit for five years and never have I had a workbook make me think and second-guess my spiritual journey. I say this in a good way, we as Christians get self-satisfied with our walk with our Father instead of continuing to grow; and we stall on our spiritual growth. This workbook will make you think about where you are in your walk with Christ and really Evaluate what is in your heart. I recommend this book for anyone no matter where you are in your spiritual journey. I am looking forward to taking the class and putting my faith to the test. Thank you Team, great job.
Lord, what if today were the day of Your return? It is a sobering thought. So many people will be caught unaware. They will not be prepared. Lord, show me some practical ways that I can point unsaved people to Jesus Christ, their only hope.

Tragically, churches seem to be more interested in their membership numbers these days, and they forget what our long term goal is as Christians, and this goal has nothing to do with how commercial or large their church can become. It seems as if they often forget that we are here for the Glory of God, and not our own, and that the only true desire that we should never lose sight of should be to spend an eternity in the presence of God.

I strongly believe Team Obey is a program/teaching that has been designed to help believers, whether strong or babes in faith, to grow in the Word of God. It is this strength that will help those of us who struggle with evangelism. It will help us to overcome our fear, and in some cases, our ignorance of the Word. This newfound confidence will also allow those of us who take this course to better obey the commands of Christ which were clearly state by Christ himself; that we are to go out and make disciples and then baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
